Indoor Storage Units – Guide
5×5 Units
Our smallest unit. You can actually store quite a bit in a 5×5 if you have everything in boxes or plastic totes. Make sure your boxes are filled solid or have packing material in them if you intend to stack to the ceiling.
5×10 Units
About the size of a walk-in closet, approximately 50 square feet of space. Suitable for a small dresser, bicycle, and several boxes or totes.
5×15 Units
About the size of a walk-in closet, approximately 75 square feet of space. Suitable for a small dresser, bicycle, and several boxes or totes.
10×10 Units
This equals the size of a small bedroom, or half of a one car garage. The storage space is approximately 100 square feet and is capable of storing a 1 bedroom apartment. Examples of furniture that would fit include: small kitchen table & chairs, bedroom set, sofa, a few chairs with room left over for a few boxes. This size storage unit is commonly used “to declutter” when preparing a home for sale.
10×15 Units
This is two thirds the size of a single car garage, approximately 150 square feet of space, able to store the contents of a two bedroom apartment. There is room to store appliances, some large pieces of furniture or motorcycle.
10×20 Units
This is the size of a standard one car garage, approximately 200 square feet of space. Perfect for vehicle storage or store the contents from a 3 bedroom house. This size will fit a refrigerator, washer & dryer, large kitchen table with 6 chairs, living room furniture, 3 bedroom sets and you’ll have a little space left over for miscellaneous boxes.
10×30 Units
This unit is spacious enough to fit a vehicle with many boxes as well. Approximately 300 square feet of space and equal a one and one half car garage. In this size unit you’re able to store belongings from a mid sized home and garage. Excellent for larger items that take up extra space like bikes, lawn mower, snow blower and other large, unusual shaped items. A perfect sized unit to store unsightly items for staging your home for sale.
